What will your work involve?

As an operator on key machinery, you’ll be an important part of our production team. You’ll run machinery like lasers or press brakes to form metal parts, and provide operations support as required to keep things running smoothly.

Your key responsibilities may include:

  • Working in a safe manner at all times, and complying with H&S directions
  • Running laser and press-brake machinery as scheduled.
  • Loading and unloading machinery.
  • Assisting with finishing, cleaning, and sorting of fabricated metal parts.
  • Assisting with materials handling, packing, and vehicle loading.
  • Assisting with other fabrication or operational support duties as required.
  • Completing paperwork and computer system entries as required for your tasks.
  • Making sure your quality and efficiency targets are met.
  • Keeping your machines and work areas orderly and clean.

This is a permanent full-time position at our main site in Porirua, Wellington. Day shift (45 hours) or night shift (40 hours) roles are available. 20% uplift rate applies to night shift.
